The objective of the Festival
HermannstadtFest
is a cultural event organised year by year. Because of coronavirus, we decided
to organize this edition online for the participants from other countries or in
diaspora.
Our
festival wants to promote the vocal abilities, the artistic and creative
qualities of every participant.
Festival's
sections
The festival has two musical genres:
- Entertainment
music ( Pop, rock, jazz, opera, musical, etno)
Vocal or
instrumental interpretation section
„Romanian Music” section- songs
composed by Adrian Ordean, Ionel Tudor, Andrei Tudor,George Grigoriu, Anton
Șuteu) There is a special list of songs that can be performed + we can give the instrumentals
„A song for God” section
- Traditional
Music
Vocal or instrumental interpretation section
There
are two stages:

Participation
conditions and sign up ways:
The age of participants: 6-22 years
The documents for signing up cand be send with wetransfer on:
hermannstadtfest@yahoo.com email before 1st August 2020.
Sign up files:

Participants shall
record a song with the phone or a video camera, WITHOUT microphone , preferably
made at the school where the competitor is being trained ! This video must be recorded specially for our festival.

The statement of
commitment signed by one parent.

repertoire..

for song: 4 minutes

„Romanian Music” Section ( Adrian
Ordean, Ionel Tudor, Andrei Tudor,George Grigoriu, Anton Șuteu)
Participants has
to be 6-22 years old.
They will perform a song composed by
Adrian Ordean, Ionel Tudor, Andrei Tudor,George Grigoriu or Anton Șuteu.
For this section we will ensure the
instrumental. Also, we will post links with this songs.

„Song for God” Section
Participants
has to be 6-22 years old. The message has to be religious on this section.
Songs can be romances ar traditional songs with religious message. We accept compositios of the participants!
Participants can sing acapella,
with instrumental or self accompanied.
Traditional music section
Participants
will perform traditional song from the area they are comming from.
The traditional costume has to be in accord with the area they are comming from.
Time for
song: 3:30 minutes

Sponsorship
cost:
! The sponsorship amount will be
paid after the materials are sent to the account communicated by the
organizers. It will be paid until August 15 !
25 euro- one section
40 euro- two sections
50 euro- three sections
60 euro all sections
2. Final Stage
Organisers does not assume ony
responsability for copyrights.
JURY
Participants will be assessed by a professional Jury.
Assessment criteria:
The
correctness of the harmonic-melodic scale, the intonation, the rhythm, the
vocal technique, the culture of interpretation, the correct stylistic approach,
the sound emission, the diction, the individuality and the transmission of the
message of the song, the stage outfit adequate to the performed song.
THE
JURY'S DECISIONS ARE FINAL AND MAY NOT BE APPEALED !!!
Jury members won’t give marks for the participants from
their countries.
AWARDS :
The award ceremony will take place on live ceremony on Facebook, on 6th September.
The results will
be displayed on September 6 after 6 pm on the festival page.

regardless of age group

single competitor who obtained the highest score, regardless of age group

- THE POPULARITY PRIZE – for the participant with
the most views on his video.
- Ist EXCELLENCE PRIZE HERMANNSTADTFEST – will be awarded to a single competitor with
the highest score among the first place occupants of all age categories.
- Ist EXCELLENCE PRIZE- „Romanian Music
- Ist EXCELLENCE PRIZE for the greatest perform of a religious song
- Ist EXCELLENCE PRIZE for the greatest perform of a romanian song
- Ist,
IInd, IIIrd PRIZE – One for each category and
section.
- MENTIONS-
- SPECIAL
PRIZES
* These prizes will be awarded for each age category
for each musical genre.
* In case
of a tie, prizes can be supplemented
* The organizers reserve the right not to award certain prizes where the grades
are below expectations.
All competitors will receive participation
diplomas.
The organizer
reserves the right to promote before the contest, during and after its
completion, through presentations in public spaces or press, radio and
television for non-commercial purposes the event and participants
